What sort of milk do you think that this cow will produce ?  Look at her diet.

 A railway runs through the entire Gir Forest.  The traffic banks up and cars jostle
with bikes and trucks to be first through the gates.  A real head-on.

A real old time method of closing and opening the gates.

This is a harsh life.  The camel is laden with bags of dung .

          When I asked this gentleman if I could take his photo. he asked me to wait until
           he was standing beside one of his best cattle.

Wednesday 16th January, 2013.

This morning we went on safari before breakfast as we want to get away early for our
journey to the Velavadar National Park.

No lions this morning.  Beautiful birds, cheeky monkeys and pretty spotted deer.

Time for breakfast.   I do hope that there is wi-fi at our next stop.
